Hull and Brom were both in the top six

And yet we have been able to dispatch them both with relative ease and without too much fuss.

Dare I say that since Sargents return we seem to have turned a corner?

And to think in the predictions threads for both matches most people seemed to think we would get battered and lose in both!

I truly believe that IF we can hang on to Sara, Rowe and Sargent, Gunn, Nunez, Saintz and complement them with the right ins and outs that even if we fail to make an unlikely push this season that we will be a very strong force for the next.

Even so, I would prefer a Wagner replacement as being necessary.

All of a sudden things are not quite so bleak, Delia is virtually writing her own exit script, Annatasio talks a lot of financial sense, Knapper is the quiet assassin, the injury plague is ended, and we are beginning to look a good team despite the manager. We are looking a unit with some purpose and, at least to Wagner's great credit, the players seem united and up for it.

A few passages of play yesterday were exceptional, and that Baggies defence has some reputation.
