Bryan Gunn's 21 league games

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

6 wins, 5 draws, 10 defeats (23 points)

Wagners last 21 games...

7 wins, 4 draws, 10 defeats (25 points)

That's how bad things are.

We are Idah's spawny last gasp winner at Bristol City away from parity.

Of which 10 of those were against Premier League opposition.

Last 21 games in the Championship:

Won 13, drew 5, lost 3

Yeah - and under Gunn we lost 7-1 at home to Colchester in Division 1.

I was defending Farke's record not Gunn's.

My point was we can all cherry pick data to suit our point. Farkes last 10 games in the championship yielded 13 points, which isn’t far off the form you’re complaining about.

I saw another comment on another thread saying if you took Wagners winning runs out then his record is terrible, which is like saying if you ignore all the trophies Ferguson won his record wasn’t great.

Don’t take this as a defence of Wagner either, as soon as a decent replacement becomes available I’ll happily see him replaced
