cambridgeshire canary 7,798 Posted December 18, 2023 (edited) Sure is a long time. And in that time there's been quite a few derbies too and of course Ipswich have failed to win a single one. But out of those derbies which would you say is your favorite? I think scoring 5 away against them in 2011 was pretty hillarious, as was beating them in the playoffs.. But I'll go for the 1-1 classic Klose last second header. They had in their minds already done it. In their minds it was already time to gloat, they were cheering and singing, almost a whole decade of having not beaten us was finished and over they all thought as It was now 0-1 to them, away at our home of Carrow Road having just scored in the 89th minute. But then.. OH NOW HOW AWFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Edited December 18, 2023 by cambridgeshire canary
The Raptor 1,573 Posted December 18, 2023 (edited) I can't think of any other derbies where one team has gone 13 games unbeaten. Not in the UK anyway. Any ideas? It didn't take me long to prove myself wrong! Hearts went unbeaten for 22 against Hibs in the 80s/90s https://www.heartsstandard.co.uk/news/23831602.story-hearts-22-game-unbeaten-run-hibs/ Edited December 18, 2023 by The Raptor

Sunderland aren't far behind us. They haven't lost to Newcastle since 2012 (nine matches). That's remarkable considering the downfall Sunderland had after scraping PL survival season after season, with multiple managers at the helm and a 'revolving door' squad during that time. Never knew that.. And seems it was 2011. Although only 13 games, 14 years with multiple different sides and managers, is arguably more impressive!

Like these pictures, but is there any reason why our players don't have eyes or noses?
