SD sets the agenda and play style. Wagner couldn't just start playing long ball for example, that would have to come from discussions with the SD and an agreed method of playing. Capt. Pants 5,005 Posted November 13, 2023 Knapper's playing style may be at odds with Wagner's though. The biggest problem Wagner has is that he's gone very random and arguably we don't really have a playing style. If anything Webber stepped back too far and gave Wagner the green light for this daft system where we have a huge gap between midfield and attack.
