No one is going to accept his predecessor hiring a new Head Coach a few weeks before he is due to arrive. I suppose a caretaker manager could be brought in for a while, but that is more or less admitting that this season is as good as written off already. Coneys Knee 1,048 Posted October 21, 2023 I turned from “not sure/give him the benefit of the doubt” to “he’s just not good enough” at the point where he had his substitutions lined up to come on when we were 2-1 up and didn’t change his mind on that at 2-2 and continued. Stupid. Wagner lost us the game today no doubt about that for me. Yes, I'm afraid I've moved over to the dark side. His substitutions must have cost us at least 4-6 points already this season. I accept that our bench isn't lined with gold dust at the moment, but his changes don't merely fail to alter anything, they actively work to our disadvantage. A shame because he seems like a nice guy who really has the club's benefit at heart, unlike Smith, who I always saw as a self-serving fake, but we can't afford a nice guy who is tactically out-thought in every single game. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This club always seems to be in limbo; ownership taking 3 years to change, SD taking taking 9 mths with a fcuking a handover period on top of that, manager will need more time for the new SD to assess. Soo frustrating. This really grates on me as well. The constant ar$e dragging over changes and decision making is ridiculously detrimental. Handover periods and overlapping etc?
