Sunday afternoon games

Recommended Posts

Watford v Blackburn 12.00

Jamal is out with a thigh injury

Sheffield United v Man City 2.00

Newcastle v Liverpool 4.30

Just switched on to see a Watford player smack a wonderful shot against the crossbar.

I've decided against watching the slaughter at 2.00. The dogs will need a Sunday stroll.

MOTD is definitely 4.30 but I'm in a quandary as I want both teams to lose

Watford v Blackburn is a hard slog, don't see these 2 troubling the top 6 come the business end of the season.

"Kompany's Burnley" getting found out in a higher division? 2 down to villa.

“Best championship side ever”?

just reminds me of that melancholy you get after getting promoted to the premier league.

Its truly the journey, not the destination that matters in life.

Sign of a quality striker right there, most strikers having the afternoon he's had would have let their heads drop, not Haaland.

Would have been an injustice had City not scored, not sure I've seen a more 1 sided match.

Does this look like the face of a man who gives up?

The Premier League hasn't been a genuine competition since its inception. I don't see Sheff U, Luton and Burnley racking up many points. They are in a mini league with Bournemouth, Wolves, Everton and Nottingham Forest. What's the survival total this season? 30pts?

Liverpool lion up against it 1-0 down and Virgil harshly sent off - I’d definitely not be happy with that decision if it was us.

Mate, it couldn’t have more clearly been a last man red card

Precisely - clearly got the ball, if anyone insisted it was a foul it should be yellow.

Really ? I thought was blatant, played straight through Isaak before touching the ball

Promoted clubs all struggling from the start this year...

As for Liverpool, I can cry no tears for the var masters.

I think there's a case for players that abuse the officials like Van Dijk has just done getting an extra games ban

If that’s a Norwich player that’s an extra 2/3 games added on for sure.

I’d be hugely pissed off if our player was red carded for that.  It’s Liverpool so I don’t really care (other than for the spectacle of the game)

Denying a clear and obvious goal scoring opportunity, clear red , not been the same player since he came back from the acl injury.which is why there has to be concerns for Hanley.
