@NCFC@ 0 Posted March 12, 2006 We have 2 good backup goalies covering green but maybe they could be sold to raise funds for a new midfielder and have Joe Lewis as backup.Ward and Gallacher are good goalies and they could be doing a job in another teams 1st team.But maybe it is good they are not playing for other teams NCFC would be playing as they could play out of their skins and prevent us from winning.(not that that happens reeguarly anymore) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Brum Uni Canary 0 Posted March 12, 2006 You''ll find that Ward is out for the season with a back injury - so we''ll be waving goodbye to him in June unless the extension option is activated. I would like to see Gallacher given a new contract (I never saw the point in signing 2 backup keepers at the same time with equal length contracts) as he has time on his side and no real injury worries. If Green goes, we''ll need another keeper so it makes sense to keep one of the incumbents instead of losing 3 over the summer - the Scot gets my vote, but he''ll need to bulk out a bit first. Worthy will sign a decent young keepers like Camp or Foster and to back him up, he''ll be an old journeyman like Crichton!
