Canary Boy 0 Posted March 16, 2006 I for one have been part of the Worthy out campaign and still feel that way to a certain extent. However, we have all noticed that the calls for his head have somewhat gone quiet, especially since Delia, Michael and the rest of the board have again come out and given Nigel Worthington their backing. The shock of the NCISA coming to a ''truce'' has also helped Nigel''s cause. Also, our recent run of results has kept Nigel''s thread that he has been hanging by nice and strong. The truth is, I don''t mind if Nigel is the manager, as long as we do get the results on the pitch, and I''m not just talking about the scores. If we are winning and drawing each week when we should be winning and drawing then great. If we are loosing when we should lose then that''s fine, as long as the players give the best they''ve got. I would like to see a big improvement in our passing game. We used to pass teams off the park with our football, and I don''t think we''re going to see that under Nigel Worthington as I don''t believe he, or the coaching staff are that way inclined...that''s clear by the way Norwich go about their football at the moment. So, I don''t care if Eddie the Eagle Edwards is the manager, as long as we play good, passing football and we get a fair result on the pitch. I just feel that Nigel is now in the position where if we lose a game or two, everyone will be on him again.Thoughts?
First Wizard 0 Posted March 16, 2006 I just want Worthy out CB.Even if he did have a winning run, he has proven beyond any doubt (despite what Munby says!) he can''t hack it in the premier!.So yes, it is two many minds.I mind the way city play hoofball.I mind a manager not caring what fans think.I mind NW as our manager.Too many minds! [:P]Ive heard we are signing Johnny Wilkinson to solve our midfield problems, might aswell sign someone like greenwood to stick upfront so he can control these long balls foward...... T07 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Oh come on. What about our rapier like tactics when it comes to freekicks and corners, the magical runs our players make when we get athrow in near the oppo penalty box.... All of that comes from the brainof our leader.... BUT you all seem happy to keep turning up so........stop complaingRe corner tactics.... do you think Worthington actually knows thatMalky and Robbo are gone, and we''re now aiming at McV, Charlton, Earnieand Leon? If they stood on each others shoulders they wouldn''t reachthe ball
