Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted March 21, 2023 Star man - the main consistent performer throughout the season is Kenny. Everyone seems to be on a Gunn love-fest but he’s only played half the games. Best goal - Nunez Biggest victory? “best” would be better - possibly PNE as it heralded a new beginning, not that it has been plain sailing Worst defeat? To an extent that is probably Sunderland as it knocked back all the momentum we’d built. Burnley showed just how far away we are if we aren’t ‘on’ it. Where will we finish? 6th - we can hope - I‘m far from convinced about that though and it’ll as likely be 8th or 9th.
......and Smith must score. 1,596 Posted March 21, 2023 (edited) I think that's five questions but I get the drift..... ( sneaky title edit there CC ) Star man : McClean Best goal : No contest. Nunez Biggest victory : Preston away ( best Sunderland (A) or Millwall (A) ) Worst defeat : Luton (A) It was toxic at Kenilworth Rd Finish : Might scrape 6th but we don't deserve it. I'll say 7th Edited March 21, 2023 by ......and Smith must score.

Capt. Pants 5,008 Posted March 21, 2023 Our worst defeat at Luton could also be our best as it got rid of Smith. I don't think many would have predicted Kenny McLean to be our 'star man' at the start of the season.
Robert N. LiM 6,282 Posted March 21, 2023 (edited) Star man: Max Aarons. There's a song about it. Best goal: Sara vs Millwall. I will not be taking questions at this time Biggest win: Sheff Utd (h) Worst defeat: Boro (a) Where will we finish? Just outside the top 26 Edited March 21, 2023 by Robert N. Google Bot 3,934 Posted March 21, 2023 Star Man: Sara - The reason McLean has been able to step up. Best Goal: Sorensen vs Millwall. Deliberate, well worked, team effort - came at a time where we needed everyone to pull together. Biggest Victory: To come on April 1st and define our season finale. Worst Defeat: Recent loss to Sunderland. I have never felt so angry and frustrated after a game, I could not get it out of my head until later that night. Under Smith I didn't have any expectations going into games so never felt the same level of drop I guess. Finish: 5th, poor league this season - and we're capable of putting a run of games together.
