A Load of Squit 6,260 Posted March 8, 2023 The most embarrassing thing about that link is the use of the term 'gift shop'.

The bit about ‘going on the **** with Geordie Best’ implies they don’t know the name of one of their most famous players. It’s like us singing about the 12 days of Huckleberry at Christmas!!!! shefcanary 2,955 Posted March 8, 2023 Some of the ManUre fans must have had pre-cog about this. At that infamous 1977 match one of their fans tried to nick both my Norwich bar scarves tied around my wrists (I was a very young teen at the time, and this was very much the fashion) on the way out of the ground. Why would they want my scarves unless they knew in 40 years time they'd be protesting regularly against the Glazers using the old Newton Heath colours! 🙂
It's Character Forming 1,204 Posted March 8, 2023 Last time I went to see us play at Old Trafford I had a friendly discussion with some Man U fans on the way to the ground about our scarves. Their scarves are "old gold" and green apparently, and you can tell the difference from theirs and our proper yellow/green ones.
