rock bus 1,059 Posted February 28, 2023 I'm in danger of getting a bit sucked into the Wagner love fest but it does seem he is really keen to develop positive relationships with the players and certainly seems a lot more engaged and likeable than Smith. In particular noticed the hug he gave to Tzolis just before he came on .. obviously really conscious of the need to demonstrate his support and confidence in the player (which is something it at least appears Tzolis in particular needs). He really is quite similar to Farke in respect to the hugs, handshakes etc with the players, something which Dean Smith completely lacked. Wagner definitely has lifted them.
