Lovely stuff.

Obviously a stunning, stunning goal from Marcelino that we'll talk about forever.

But just as pleasing for me was Tzolis's goal. He had no right to score from the position he got the ball. Really classy finish.

Oh, and just POTS front-runner Kenny McLean spraying it around like prime Ian Crook. Fantastic

Great stuff.

At the time I thought Nunez had scuffed his 2nd, but I now see he's deliberately kicked the ball into the ground to bounce it over Ruddy.

Lovely,

Although Nunez's first was a wonder goal I thought Tzolis's in many ways was classier. If he can do that regularly he would grace any team in the land!

Yeah, agree with that. In a similar way I sort of preferred Sargent's header against Watford to the scorpion kick. Much more repeatable.

Wait, Nunez isn't going to be scoring those every week?!

Good stuff.

Could it be marked as a Hanley error for their goal? Decent strike but Hanley fluffed the initial clearance a bit.

Yes - Tzolis's didn't snatch a shot - or hit a once in lifetime zinger (we can all remember plenty of those) but under pressure form an awkward angle beat Ruddy all ends up with a placed, curled and very deliberate finish. There was no 'luck' or fortune about it at all!  Truly a world class finish that won't have gone unnoticed in the EPL for instance. Keep doing that from the same sort of positions an he'll have a very bright future indeed!

It seemed similar to quite a few of the goals shown on a highlights reel. As someone else said, he had his head up all the time, and seemed to know what he planned to do. The other point is he got caught offside a few times last night, perhaps through trying too hard to impress. Having scored, Wagner will be able to tell him he doesn't need to be so anxious.

They didn't show Idah's chance, which Ruddy saved.

To be fair it was a cracking block from the defender, I'm not convinced Idah is offside for the chance they showed. And Kenny so unlucky not to get his goal, brilliant piece of defending that. Looks like Idah offered quite a bit up front, attacking players seemed to gel well.

I thought Idah had a look on his face saying 'when the heck will something go for me'. He really needs a goal or two soon to boost his confidence. He looked fast and strong last night, just needs those elusive goals.

Kenny unlucky certainly - I did note he poked the ball past Ruddy but then stopped and watched - if he had carried on his run he may well have forced a goal anyway!
