Been going to Carrow Rd for 40 + yrs and cant ever remember the club indulging a player in the way we did with him. In years gone by we'd have been long shot of them. Threw away a chance to play in the premier league last season, in a short career who knows if that chance will ever come again? lake district canary 4,531 Posted February 5, 2023 Easy to belittle him and/or the SPL, but if he has found his niche and can develop his career from there, then I for one don't begrudge him that. I was surprised I feel like that, as I thought he handled the situation badly at CR, or was at least badly advised, but the main issue was that he was still here and now he's gone, we can all move on. He's exactly what we were miss on Saturday: someone to drop deep looking for the ball, giving an extra option in midfield and supporting Gianonoulis on the left.
