The Duke of Norfolk 0 Posted February 25, 2006 the reason that NW is still in charge i would guess is down to the fact that Delia and MWJ won''t sack him. They are the majority share holders so i reckon what they say goes.It is no good putting pressure on NW as he won''t (quite rightly) resign. The pressure must be applied now to Delia and MWJ to make them act.It does not have to be nasty just several thousand chanting "Delia sort it out!" should help get the message across. What do you think? Delia is smart enough to know that using her position to influence the board would be divisive and counterproductive ..... what MIGHT be happening though is that the board wont sack Nigel because they know how friendly Delia is with the Worthington family , but thats just a guess !! macdougalls perm 0 Posted February 26, 2006 This is bang on the money, this would be the perfect strategy IMO. Staying away and depriving club of money and support (and missing the experience of the match) is totally counterproductive - cutting of our collective nose to spite our face - but this chant, if consistent enough, would put pressure on exactly the right area. DS and MWJ would then be fully aware of popular feeling and yet it makes it clear that we are all still behind them. (altho Wizard makes it clear that he isn''t, I don''t think that the majority of supporters agree with him). Just think that they may need the gravity of the situation pointed out in an unmistakable fashion.
