Each wandering around the pitch looking for the other half. Hugills booking was right below where I was sat in the South Stand. Firstly he dleiberately push the Rovers player and then hacked down the other in a needless foul. Pukki seems to be struggling. Whether through lack of support, or just 'getting old'. Still a class above most of the others, but that probably says more about them than him. As to Cantwell. Enough is enough. Too many no shows. Too many (what seems to be) sulks/strops temper tantrums. Likable enough chap, but he needs to move on. for the pantomime horse comment! I'm a huge advocate of Cantwell and his potential but even I am starting to get bored of the injury/personal problems/attitude problems excuses. Either you're fit and want to be here or you're not. Either sort yourself out or f**k off somewhere else. You've had chance after chance under different management. 1

Playing for your country does not mean you are world class, are all the Wales players world class, simply because they were at the World Cup? I posted this days ago on a wind up, I don't actually put that much thought into it, just knew it would get answers like this

We have 2 world class strikers ( deny it all you want sarge wears the USA shirt) 1 solid journey man and a decent up and comer. What we lack is a play maker, Cantwell will end up at kings Lynn next year, dowell not up to it, the south Americans not good enough. What do you expect? Last thing we need is more strikers Try a play maker holding mid and solid centre back Did the journeyman actually touch the ball in his time on the pitch
Coneys Knee 766 Posted January 8 For goodness sake, stikera aren’t our problem. We have a 30 a season striker which Amy championship club would love in a heart bit of the midfield arent owning the midfield and creating opportunities, genuinely, even haaland would struggle. New strikers aren’t necessary and aren’t the answer to our problems. 2
PockthorpePete 325 Posted January 8 Whereas in reality we have one striker looking past his best and another that gives 100% effort, but often that is all. Ramsey has returned to Villa, the pole is out injured, and both Rahica and Tzolis are out on loan. Hernadez is all too often no better than a comic turn. Another day without us scoring, and you warble "New strikers aren’t necessary". err, we have 2 strikers. Today we had 10 shots on target and a load more off target. We had 20 corners and none of those (inc shots) actually looked threatening at all. This is not a one off. Look at the results for the past months. We are not scoring as we do not have enough players who can score. It really is as simple as that.

The term “shots on target” should be used very loosely in this instance, and the guy you “warbled” as a “comic turn” produced our only quality shot on goal. We need quality midfielders. With quality midfielders that can create. Pukki, Idah and Sargent would score goals. We need some midfield quality!
Yellow Fever 2,808 Posted January 9 (edited) It was clear that we could score - or did so in that little winning run. However, since then we changed our attack and now we don't score much. Sadly, we then keep on doing the same thing and expect things to change. Hmm. Edited January 9 by Yellow Fever
NCPFC 11 Posted January 9 WOW, 20 + corners and NO GOALS. WTF is our set piece coach doing? It’s obvious that the NCFC is in desperate need of a ruthless number 9!!! Or NCFC is going nowhere!!! Come on, City!!!
Yellow Wal 297 Posted January 9 More to the point 20 corners and nearly all of them the same. Not enough variation to cause the Blackburn defence anything to think about other than 'here comes another one'. If that is the worth of a set piece coach with England experience as an international striker coach then what on earth are we paying for? And no wonder England also don't know how to attack!
