Why does it have to be that the players are crap?

Why not that they are low on confidence, lacking a bit of belief, in a bit of a rut? We have good players FFS. Very good players at this level.

OTBC!!!

Thought he did get a yellow if you mean pulling Pukki down ?

Looks like he did. Definite red though 😉

You mean some ill-conceived and foolish posts on the Pinkun? Surely not !

Burnley taken the lead at Stoke. They're going to take some catching.

I can't see them doing a Leeds.  Hopefully we can get some momentum and be a threat for the playoffs.

There is the odd moment where we are looking almost incisive here.  Often followed by a truly awful final ball but there is the occasional hint of a glimmer.

Could very much do with a second though.  Reading look awful but the game needs killing off.

Swansea doing a number on Watford here, who are missing a few players. Might be a good time to face them.

Should have had this sewn up way before then... I guess the one positive in that statement is that you can't say that about many games we've contrived to shoot ourselves in the foot in this season.

Some will make out it's been an amazing performance just because Smith is no longer in charge, but this is still extremely average.

It's not been amazing, but it is about the first game this season where had we won, we'd have actually deserved to win.

Reading deserve nothing from this game.

Absolutely has been, we’ve still been consistently better than Reading though throughout the game. Not something I could say about any of our last 6-8 games under Smith.

Feels like there's been more intensity about our forward play

Let's be honest, this is still a very average. We ought to be better than this.

I've kept quiet all night but your post has summed it up for me. Average. That is what we are.

Ok but just because the coach has gone doesn’t mean the players will somehow spontaneously work out how to play better in a couple of days, let’s get real.

This!

Not watching tbf, but stats on BBC are pretty even and suggests a close game.

Stats can be horrendously misleading - no inkling about quality of the chances.
