Two jobs, two promotions to the Premier League. Would've been one of my top choices.
unique 466 Posted December 31, 2022 He always looks as if he’s just come off a Thunderbirds set. Lacks personality.

Dean80 1 Posted January 1, 2023 he’ll be sack in the summer out of the Champions League and worst place in the table then they are now, bad appointment in my opinion
Jim Smith 2,608 Posted January 1, 2023 He is a cr*p manager who has done nothing more than achieve promotions with two squads that absolutely ought to have been promoted. Now one can argue that’s better than Smith has done and that we’d take that right now but it’s not forward looking.
king canary 8,750 Posted March 8, 2023 Bullet well and truly dodged here it seems- binned off by Bruge after 3 months having won two in twelve and bombing out of the Champions League 7-1 on aggregate with one of the colder 'official club statements' I've read. Quote Scott Parker is no longer head coach of Club Brugge. Parker (42) was announced as the new head coach of Club Brugge on December 31 last year. The English ex-international previously worked for Fulham and Bournemouth and replaced Carl Hoefkens at Club. In 12 games, the Briton could only win 2 times. These Belgians can get sidetracked whilst they drink their strange beer and their mayonnaise infested chips!

Don't understand how inexperienced English coaches ever think they can just go to a different country mid-season, without knowing the native tongue, and expect to know what the f*ck they are doing. Gary Neville to Valencia was even weirder. Now.. A crash language course, signing a few experienced bilingual players to back your corner and then a full pre season perhaps worth a punt. It felt like Parker needed humbling though after his Bournemouth rant, this might just improve him as a person and manager. In fact, I think this makes him more attractive to good Championship clubs now, needed a dose of reality. Edited March 8, 2023 by TeemuVanBasten

He may be humbled, he may also be claiming its all the clubs fault, these Belgians never understood what je was trying to do etc.
littleyellowbirdie 3,138 Posted March 8, 2023 To be fair, do you remember what Pocchetino was like when he turned up at Southampton? The language barrier didn't stop him. 3 hours ago, TeemuVanBasten said: Don't understand how inexperienced English coaches ever think they can just go to a different country mid-season, without knowing the native tongue, and expect to know what the f*ck they are doing. PockthorpePete 331 Posted March 8, 2023 He needs to relax for a bit, put his feet up - and what better than one of these, a Parker Knoll'. He should be able to afford the £1098 price tag after yet another pay off. And it's only a few months to go before Watford coming calling
Capt. Pants 5,005 Posted March 9, 2023 Nice little earner for him. He'll probably be back in the Championship next season. A few on here were clambering for him and he could still do a good job at the right level.
