So Charlie works at the club?

There are people at the club that would rather talk to him than our local journos that's for sure.

He won't post that unless he's sure.

Think it's the right move but with Webber & co still here the same mistakes will happen again... until we have new owners with new ideas thus goes on and on...

Inevitable after last night. A decent coach and a decent choice at the time. He may well succeed elsewhere, but for whatever reason he didn't here. What he wasn't, for good and for ill, was Daniel Farke. He won't suffer that comparison at another club.

This is what worries me. Should Smth go? Probably. Will sacking him result in us winning our next five in a row? No.

Nothing personal as he might be a lovely bloke but he was ruining our football club so glad he has gone.

Just hope they don't go for the cheap, easy option.

Good luck to DS, but his face never fit here from minute 1 - it looked and seemed like an awkward fit from the off.

WBA have the same owners, sacked Bruce and are now on a sixmatch winning run.

Right decision quite obviously,  now we have the anxious wait to see if Webber pulls out another Farke, or stuffs it up again

What he wasn't, for good and for ill, was able to work out a preferred line-up, formation and style of play. I hope He won't suffer that at another club.

Fixed it for you

Sad it has come to this, but IMO he was not the real problem at the club.

Time will tell.

Not a great fan of quoting someone else’s comment, but changing it in the process.  Seems dishonest to me.

Spoiler- Given our finances there is no doubt in my mind we will be going for the cheap and easy option.

There can be more than 1 real problem at a club.

Should never have been employed here in the first place. Sacking Farke for Smith was the worst thing Webber has done in his time here, and it's coming from a worryingly growing list

Agreed.  He was one, but in my opinion Mr and Mrs Webber and the Wynn-Joneses are also real problems.

Perfect summary. Glad he's gone, for his sake as well as ours. Friday would have been horrific for everyone. Wish him all the best.
