How can you call yourself a fan and be neither?

Sorry to be direct but Jesus Christ to not have an opinion is passionless ambivalence.

Although everyone entitled to an opinion...although you don't have one...🤔

Oh, right, so now I’m being told how to support the club I’ve followed for well over 40 years, am I?

The point is that wherever we’re playing I’ll support the team, and whoever represents it, and want it to win.  There seems to be a difference, because some seem to be in a position where they would prefer to ‘prove’ they are right by us failing.  That’s pretty feeble, but I suppose they are entitled to that (if it can be called an) opinion.  But as it is one you agree with, it appears you’ll let that part of it slide.

No I didn't say that did I.

I said how can you not have an opinion.

This is no time for fence sitting and that isn't a badge of honour.

Nobody respects Sweden for remaining neutral in World War 2.

No, of course that’s not an over the top comparison…

Fine then.

You make friends with a couple.

They are heading towards an extremely messy divorce. One cheats on the other, the other tries to stop the other from seeing their kids.

Neither of them respect a "oh I'm completely neutral and support both of you guys" argument. There's no scope for that, you've got to pick one or ditch them both. Neither of them accept or respect fence sitting.

At least 80,000 Irish born people joined the Allied forces during WWII, with up to 10,000 of those dying.

Sweden can't say the same.

Sweden had between 10’000 and 20’000 volunteer soldiers who fought the nazis depending on where you get information from. Many countries stayed neutral too like Switzerland who got rich on nazi gold.

I do have an opinion, I don’t see why telling you makes any difference. I’ll support the club whoever and wherever they are playing, and hope they win.  Clearly if they aren’t winning and continually playing poorly those making the decisions need to look at what’s going on.  I’m not in a position to make such a decision so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Smith can hardly have any complaints if he’s binned, though. Whether I want it isn’t the point.

Interesting analogy.  Totally over the top, again, but what can we expect….I’ve had friends go through messy separations and stayed friends with both.  You just don’t seem to get it.

If I'm the Attanasio's I'm investing in some club coloured pampers for the fans that think a bad coach means the club is bad from top to bottom.

Don’t think the club is bad at all, it’s just finished as a top level competitor and not worth investing in.

That's the best time to acquire a club, when the owners get desperate and the share price is low.

Its what Delia did.

I just don’t think they have the courage

I think the only way to solve this is for the fanbase to literally go to war with those in charge.

They don’t have the money, that’s the problem. It’s always the problem!

No need to be so defensive.

I think we all want Norwich to win or we wouldn't bother.

True they don’t have **** loads of money but what money they do have they spend with an approximate 20% success rate.

While there may be some on here who are gloating about how 'right' they are being 'proven' about Smith and all can we all at least come together and agree that this is a very sad and depressing chaptor of this clubs histoy?

It's but a moment in the club's history. Hopefully there will be changes, lots of changes, on and off the pitch. It's happened before and it will happen again. We let the Smith situation drift too far when it was bloody obvious he's not what we need and never was.

Financially speaking, the club are nowhere near desperate yet due to our frugal attempts at playing with the big boys. Give it another few years of championship mediocrity though…

That 20 percent keeps generating them time to continue festering at the football club. We are being ran at a league 2 standard and people are so blind to see it

Didn't even bother checking the score today, that's how much Smith has made me love my team. I'll support the players to the bitter end but this crap has gone on for long enough.

Living in Cyprus have to rely on reporting for the games, but I must ask have Norwich got a defence coach if not they really need one if they have he should be sacked, every match is the same, sloppy goals , slipshod and criminal defending, giving away stupid goals, when will something be done.
