I've been in the give him time camp since Smith arrived, but tonight had the feeling of when many other managers have reached the end of the road. I think he should go, and it should be this evening. He can have no complaints.

If Ricardo was reporting on this game (and we all understand the unfortunate reason why he won't be), he'd remind us that when the crowd turns on the manger there is no way back. Smith has had his chance, it's time for someone else to have their go.

Looking forward to littleyellowbirdie's meltdown tonight and Hogesars selective hearing, unless they will finally wake up and smell the coffee today.

It's our fault 😉

Out of interest, how do you think Webber’s doing? This is on him

As was Farke.

He's appointed two managers. If he appoints another, it'll determine whether he has a talent for putting things together and lining up all of those pieces almost perfectly, or whether he has just had a one off.

Only question left now is if Smith remains, it's how long for. Absolutely no new impetus from the break, only one player away at the world cup and we couldn't be less galvanised.

You have to say, they needed to make the most of the break to up the game, and it simply hasn't happened. The boos seem fairly justified at this point.

I hope this game finally illustrates to Delia & the board that Smith is absolutely clueless. Like so many of you, I genuinely don't look forward to watching us play under Smiths management.

I’m not sure if you slept through the last EPL season? How you can begin to construct any sort of defence of Webber after last season and now this, I can’t begin to imagine.

There’s going to be some people tonight that are dangerously close to giving an opinion on Dean Smith.

Not the board though…probably

I am not willing to have an opinion on that dangerous subject

Smith is hopeless, it's clear he needs to go. My big, big problem with this is, I have no idea who would be any better. If we get someone just as sh*t, we may as well save the compensation.

Ultimately, this position is what we deserve for sacking our best ever manager after a win.

I'd say yes. We've gone from tired old dog to lame duck. Impressive that he's actually got us playing worse when the bar was already pretty low.
