RIP Christine McVie

Recommended Posts

Died in hospital apparently so assume an illness.

Loved her in Chicken Shack and when she joined the old Fleetwood Mac I had high hopes but they morphed into Hollywood FM.

RIP Christine. Tonight I'll be mainly drinking beer and listening to Fleetwood Mac...

While 79 seems old it's also only a few years older than my parents. That scares me.

Its odd to think there are whole bands I listen to that are dead. And maybe 60% of stuff I listen to is by dead people (im 44 so it's lot as if it's even my generation)

Ah well, clearly a copyright issue with putting Tusk on here.

RIP Christine - you will be missed.

I was a fan of Fleetwood Mac in their first incarnation, before Peter Green left - 'Albatross', 'Man of the World', 'Oh Well' etc.  He was their driving force and inspiration.  In the Buckingham-Nicks era all that remained was the name.  Very successful commercially but not a patch on the original.
