This is a completely different scenario. How ? The thread title simply asks if you had to rehire any former Norwich manager. That’s what Alan Irvine is and his name’s in the ring

Controversial choice especially bearing in mind he’s never managed Norwich.

Anyway, my choice would be Lambert as it would ruffle a few feathers and would be a great story if he succeeded here after flopping at Ipswich. It's a shame he fell out with Culverhouse really, got a feeling Lambert hasn't quite got enough tactical nouse on his own. Lambert brought the motivation and man management, Culverhouse brought the finer details.

What you wrote in your thread title doesn’t say anything about excluding temporary and/or in house appointments. Just sayin’ 😉

Channon’s Windmill 297 Posted November 17, 2022 If we could freeze time, Martin O’Neill when he was on an upwards trajectory in management. In real-time, none on the list because they all left/were moved on for a reason. Reappointed managers don’t often work.

Dogbo Daggins 25 Posted November 17, 2022 I think Stringer is the best manager the team ever had, and really set the team up for the success enjoyed by Walker. I think O'Neil would have been good, had he been here longer. I think Farke could have matured into an excellent manager, given a long term opportunity.
