If Bournemouth do not make Gary O'Neill their permanent head coach, I think he would be a good fit for Norwich City........

Awful at crowd waving so I'm going to say no.

So just to review what's required.

Must wave to the crowd.

Must become immersed in NCFC.

Must play free flowing football for 90 minutes.

Must get promotion.

Must keep us up.

Must be able to make all fans happy.

Must not drink tea/coffee on the touchline from a mug.

Must hold interesting press conferences.

Must attend the AGM.

Must agree  and implement with all tactical changes suggested by fans on social media and message boards.

Must hold after match interviews that all fans agree with.

Must make substitutions that all fans agree with.

Any suggestions who fits the profile?

How about just... must not lose 7 games in under half a season in the second tier with a parachute payment budget and a £12m net summer transfer spend.

He's failing.

OK.

I think you've missed the point but if you're desperate to make this point good for you.

Not really, if he were winning enough games you wouldn't hear most of the other complaints in your list, that's the reality and the crux of the matter.

There not all complaints about Dean Smith. A couple were about Farke.

Three weeks ago Everton fans were unfurling a big Frank Lampard banner at Goodison.

Now they are all calling for him to be sacked.

There are clubs with sets of fans that are a lot more fickle and cringeworthy than ours.

More fickle or just the same, probably the latter.

I find the calls for both Parker and O'Neil bizarre.

Parker has achieved the bare minimum in the championship when you look at the sides he's been given. He failed to keep Fulham up when they had a very decent squad and probably would've done the same at Bournemouth before he left. Look how good Fulham have been since he left.

O'Neil there is so little info to go on and he's not really doing that great a job imo. They've picked up some points but I think they'll probably still go down. There's also the question of playing style, of which there is no evidence to suggest O'Neil would be anything different to what we get served up from Smith.
