That was an absolute shoite performance and I await Southgate's press conference and how he jutifies the performance and his decisions.

 

The Mount playing every minute is even more baffling than the McLean situation at Norwich. It doesn't matter how abject he is, and he has been utterly abject consistently for England, he starts and is rarely subbed.

We didn't have a plan B, perhaps the occasional long diagonal to keep them guessing.

Wow - that was pretty awful.  But I suppose while we weren’t at the races we still limited them to very little In the way of chances.  Need to improve massively to progress beyond the last 16.

The hype and delirium after the Iran win was a bit OTT, most of us said it at the time.

This performance is a stark reminder of our recurring limitations playing through half-decent sides.

USA were excellent to be fair, more than deserved their point.

Lots of question marks over Southgate's selection or - more specifically - his substitutions.

I'm hoping to see at least three or four changes to the starting eleven v Wales. Including Foden starting.
