He has zero effect on the game, even 2 up we get pegged back, he’s so animated an in control on touchline I am wrong! Funny though the two times they showed smith he had his hands in his pockets!

 I thought Todd was pretty pointless today, the midfield could not transition the ball, they were sharper and out numbered us in key areas, and then got the ball out wide quickly.  I was actually impressed how we held our line, Tomkinson seemed to do okay, and I thought McCallum was fine at left back.  
It feels like a broken record, but Pukki and Sargent do not work in the same side, and our midfield is a man short.  4 3 3 doesn’t work.

Having watched the last few games via the wonder of tv I have come to the conclusion that Aarons is not the player he is cracked up to be.
He certainly isn't worth anywhere near the suggested fee that is often bandied about.
I am not surprised he is still here,any interest is pure speculation

Many said in the summer that it wouldn’t be the worst thing to cash in and get a decent workhorse rb for a fraction of the fee (we have Byram but he’s injured as much as he isn’t)

Does anyone else remember watching us narrowly beat Everton 2-1 and Smith looked like he could finally reinvigorate us and make us a competitive unit at the top level? Now all I see is a couple of goals in a flukey 5 minutes against the worst performing Everton side in decades. I genuinely think my vision of Smith had been influenced by this one result. It made me think if only we had fewer injuries or he had a couple more months to instil his style. What an utter tool I was. How long is his contract for? He has no incentive to leave as I can’t see many clubs being duped into signing him at this stage.
