Parking at Bramall Lane

Recommended Posts

I’ve been to Hillsborough but it’s my first visit to the Blades on Saturday. Where do people park?

Many thanks in advance.

In front of Angus' goal preferably

We could have the entire team, backroom staff, his car, the players bus all right in front of our goal yet and we would STILL find a way to let Sheffield score against us I bet

Where are you coming from / going to and how much are you prepared to pay? As mentioned lots of on street parking around the ground, some free some not (note the parking wardens do patrol so if in a pay bay, do get a ticket / pay by phone) but you're at the mercy of getting there early to bag a space and having to hang around until after the crowd has gone to leave.

Car parks range from the expensive Q Parks (Station and Cheesegrater), the Eyre St multi storeys, or surface car parks at Sidney Street / Matilda Street, or the New Era Square basement car park.

I have no faves as I only live 15 mins walk away, indeed plenty people park up near my house.

Our local is good for a pre-match drink, The Stag's Head, Thornbridge tied pub.

We will come across country on the A14 and then we will take the A1 or M1 north.

I've been discussing pre-match pubs with another fan on Facebook, who is parking at Meadowhall and getting a tram into the City centre; another option.

Perhaps stick Sidney Street in your SatNav. Has on street parking and surface car parks close enough to the ground, but not too far into town,  with a few pubs and bars close by (Lord Nelson is a "home pub", but Sidney & Matilda bar, Industry Bar in close proximity.

Not going tomorrow but have been to both clubs many times and this is always the option we use. Safe parking and easy tram ride. More of a walk from the tram stop (Granville Road / Sheffield College) than for Hillsborough but only about 10 minutes. Have to change trams in the city centre though.
