Trouble is that Pukki lost interest in city now and want to leave

So he is intentionally missing his chances or just isn’t bothered when he does miss them? Good one

Pukki looking lively now.

Tactical switches seem to be working.

Surely not? Baldy reckons he has lost interest

So if they’d have betted using xG for all the games this season would they be up or down financially?

rhetorical question

You really expect me to be able to answer that retrospectively? Odds fluctuate massively, sometimes you only get 5/4 on a win.

Go and look at our results against Watford going back 10+ years, we never find it easy against them.

Yet our xG this season would have us as comfortable winners.

In fact, go and look at last seasons Premier league table, they didn't finish bottom did they.

Hayden doesn't even look close to match fit but you can instantly see what he is going to bring. Takes up good positions and organises - looks to be  taking over pointing duties from Kenny but before the event rather than after ...

Agreed, and he's also the most physical midfielder we have, which is important.

Quite nice to have a proactive pointer rather than a reactive pointer 😉

I didn’t expect you to answer it, that’s what the word rhetorical means. It means xG winning so far, let’s see if it does come end of season

He’s 5 years on and has no Emi feeding him. He will decline, but he would start in every other 11 in the championship every week

No, the xG table is worked out based on all previous games in the season, and that's what I clearly referenced.

People have been talking about using xG to bet on the outcome of games, and pointing out that our xG this season is very good.

Feels like people want to continously shift the boundaries of the debate to suit.

Right up your street then. Nice cross and lots of good control with Sarge's non existent left foot too.

Don’t want to jinx it but, especially given how long he’s been out, Hayden looks utter class.
