Rays Funds for the CSF with the PUPs Season 16 Week 7

Recommended Posts

Welcome to Rays Funds, supported by Turner European Consulting and Cavell Healthcare.

This week is international weekend and you have me making the final six selections. There’s no requirement to pick international games. I will consider all picks from where they can be found providing they are played on Sat, Sun or Mon of this weekend and listed on Bet 365.

There’s no Norwich game but Mrs Nutty dropped a fiver the other day and didn’t realise it was gone😮. I of course kept it safe and we can use it for a go at Both Teams To Score. So let’s find some great suggestions for that.

Details of Kathy’s famous World Cup Sweepstake are now up on this thread…

Thanks for confirming the last weekend. We did make a change so these are the revised rotas.

 Final 6 Picks

Oct  1st – @Hissing Sid - confirmed

Oct  8th – @SwindonCanary - confirmed

Oct 15th – @Leedscanary - confirmed

Oct 22nd – @Jellytot - confirmed

Oct 29th – @Diane - confirmed

Norwich Match Picks

Oct  1st – @TheBaldOne66 - confirmed

Oct  8th – @NFN FC - confirmed

Oct 15th – @Hector Brockelbank - confirmed

Oct 22nd – @Indy - confirmed

Oct 29th – @gregt - confirmed

As always a massive thank-you to our new benefactor PUPanon2 for making the Norwich match picks possible this season. Also to all the Pink Un posters who send me pledges and donations. And to our wonderful sponsors Turner European Consulting and Cavell Healthcare. The sponsorship, pledges and donations all go straight into the presentation pot. It makes a massive difference to the amount we raise and I know the CSF and our DS and Pan-disability boys and girls really appreciate this support. For more information on our sponsors take a look at their websites below :-

Nutty you poor, but heroic sod taking on the International week when it's Nations League weekend and so many low hanging fruit are not available. So I'll not make it any easier for you!

Korean K-League 2 - Bucheon v Gimpo FC - Home Win - Check out the 5 game form for them, but buyer beware...

for BTTS - Bala Town v Cardiff Metropolitan - The 12 games they have played in have so far contributed 38 goals!

Nations League is often a strange one but goals have been scored in recent times so there may well be some BTTS hopefuls in the list of games.

I'm going for something much more familiar to me this week (because I always look out for my second club having lived up this way for decades)...so..

Bradford City home win (versus Wimbledon). They are strong at home and there is a very good feelgood factor around them with the job Mark Hughes is doing. The form table (last 5) is also very positive (2nd).

BTTS pick:

Peterboro / Port Vale - based on both clubs having early season top goalscorers in their teams and challenging near the top.

Best luck to all Pups and to you especially NN.

Still on my hunt for value I'm going to take a risk this week and go with....

Shrewsbury Town v Burton Albion....Home win.

For the BTTS the obvious one this week is....

Barrow v Leyton Orient.

If anybody deserves a win then it's our very own Nutty, so the best of luck Nutty.

Also jumping on the Wrexham bandwagon as it is hard to see beyond that on this tough week. Also it was the anniversary of the Gresford Colliery disaster this week, and I know the club were involved in that, so there will be extra motivation.

So Wrexham Vs Torquay = Home win

As for BTTS - how about Netherlands Vs Belgium in the Nations League on Sunday

Crikey, this is tough! If you can pick a winning six from this lot, Eddie, it would be a remarkable achievement.

I'll also go for Turkey to win in the Faroes, please.

For BTTS, loads of goals around in League One so far this season. Bristol Rovers v Accrington looks a good shout.

The Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar group of the German Oberliga.

Schott Mainz to win at home against Kirchberg.

Schott Mainz have an overall 5-1-1 and 25/8 record. They did draw their last game, but that was away, and have won all their home games. Twice recently they have scored seven in a match. Kirchberg have an overall 1-1-5 and 10/20 record. They did win their last match, but that was at home.

The odds are 1/8.

---

For the BTTS bet I suggest Netherlands vs Belgium.

Good luck to all!
