Sorry for the title, hard to resist πŸ˜‰

Just been reading in the Archives that Gregg Berhalter (USMNT Manager) once turned downed the opportunity of joining us after a trial in 2000! He joined Palarse instead, probably a London v the Provinces geographical thing again. Josh can show him what he missed perhaps.

Good work Josh. So. Here's the plan.

Score, preferably a goal that makes a difference to the outcome of the match or a worldie.

Keep your place in the squad for the world cup.Β

Score there.Β

Sell a load of Norwich shirts to Americans, get us loads of fans over there. The change in ownership may already be raising our profile stateside.Β

Everyone rakes in the cash!

Having just returned today from a trip to NY and watching Ted Lasso on the flight, football or soccer or whatever the **** the US wants to call it has a looooong way to go before it’s on folksΒ radars. Though it’s definitely growing in popularity owing to the women’s team. And with Sargent banging them in against us in the World Cup who knows what’ll happen… πŸ˜‰

The club crest change, does make you wonder if this was the plan all along.Β

Was convinced he would. Poor in the first few games, but then all of sudden has changed into a completely different player and thoroughly deserves to in my opinion

I told ya he'd get a callup. The perspective of playing in the cup should give him extra motivation. Worldy appearances, more Chumps goals, and promotion will nicely boost his value so we can sell him for about 15 mil to Everton at the end of the season. πŸ™‚πŸ˜‰Β Β
