Louis Thompson serious injury

Recommended Posts

Wow that’s not even his knee giving in off the ball, or a hamstring, or anything else. Very unlucky and maybe time on his career.

Comes a point where he has to listen to his body and take the call that playing isn't going to be viable going forward, while he's recovering, he should go for his badges and then get into coaching, I'm sure Pompey will have him in with the kids.

Agree, should take his insurance policy and accept his lot, otherwise he'll end up on a stick in his 40s.

Thats been the headline of his career poor chap.

Still remember him coming back from injury being on the pitch 5 mins and going off with a dislocated shoulder,

He did play 32 games for Portsmouth last season and all 5 games so far this season. It was a horror tackle. I mean... it's an unlucky injury

Bizarre responses in here,

It's a double leg break from a bad challenge, not a reoccurring problem.

Could happen to the most resilient and injury free player.

True , but it doesn't alter the fact that the lad has had extremely bad luck with injuries. ...and for that he has my sympathy... Not that it's going to help him much at all

Just went to post the same thing - its a leg breaking challenge, has nothing to do with any other injury histories a player may have. Can't believe that was only a yellow!

That’s really tough. Football can be v lucrative but always remember read Cascarino’s bio, in his 30s in the morning he could hardly get out of bed for all the aches and pains.
