I think If Smith could only get some bottle and drop Cantwell, Mclean, Hugill, Rashica & Sargent and put the kids in we could start to get some life and soul back in the team. The above mentioned don't bring anything to the party so drop them. Come on Smith don't be so predictable and boring. We have been a bit unlucky with injuries already - Rowe and Springett in particular being the youngsters, Sara and Hayden, and obviously anyone who has played left-back. Petriix 3,219 Posted August 14, 2022 I agree with the sentiment, although Cantwell has been one of our better players so far this season and Hugil is our only fit backup striker. While Sargent is basically still a 'kid', he's had ample opportunity to show some ability and failed to do so. When we hit injuries under Farke in the Championship, he brought young players through to the first team. Where's our promising 19 year old left back?
