Grick 7 Posted August 14, 2022 There's a lot of talk on here about DS not knowing his best 11. But who would you choose now, based on the first 3 games? Suggested in a 4-1-4-1. Gunn Byram Omobidele Hanley Giannoulis Hayden Nunez Cantwell Sara Sinani Hugill/Pukki (if the latter's drive is still there?) Okay, some of these need to bed in and/or recover from injury. What worries me is that the constant team changes are leaving players looking over their shoulder rather than forward to a prolonged period in the 1st team building a team ethic and confidence. It is hard to judge NCFC currently when we are narrowly missing points with a 50% 2nd string team (accepting that this should still be good enough). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

All the Germans 1,239 Posted August 14, 2022 Based upon current squad and no injuries, I'd say; Krul, Aarons, AO, Gibson*, Giannoulis Sara**, Hayden Sinani***, Nunez, Cantwell*** Pukki Subs: Gunn, Hanley, Gibbs, Hernandez, Dowell, Idah, Raschica * Gibson's defending is suspect, but at this level his ability to progressively pass it forwards will help our attacks (Yes, I know he did a rubbish pass that gifted a goal away, so that makes him hopeless and not good enough etc etc). ** I don't really know if Sara is any good or not yet, but I'd rather him than McLean or Sorenson. Was a very close call with Gibbs, who looks good but based purely on the transfer fee, I choose to believe Sara will be good. *** Lack of pace of these two - and in general - worry me.
