Well they will be staying up this year again. Everton are this years Burnley, in they won't score enough goals, Leicester have ripped the team apart due to FFP and any one other from about 6 will be going down.

They've made a catastrophically bad appointment in Ten Haag. You can't play out from the back and try to play walking pace football in the PL anymore, that league is all about pace, power, height, winning duels, being good at set pieces  and counter attacks and having players who can run at the opposition and dribble around them to create chances. Watching them on MOTD has been like watching us under Farke in the PL, too much slow, tippy tappy rubbish at a low intensity and snails pace, if they carry on playing like that they're going to get battered every week. I don't understand why some coaches and owners fail to understand what the PL is all about now, yes Dutch 'total football' and Barca in La Liga under Guardiola in 2008 were great, but modern PL footballers are too fast, strong and athletic to let you play like that anymore, if that's whan Man Utd under Ten Haag are going to do all season they will be in a relegation battle.

Look at Man City now under Guardiola who re-popularised that stayle of play at Barcalona, they now play lightening fast football, they get the ball forward as quickly as possible, stick 10 men behind the ball when they lose it etc, even Guardilola has had to compromise and change his philosophy to suit this league. they're still brilliant to watch and play amazing football at times, but they don't  walk with the ball at their feet and play little tippy tappy sideways and backwards passes. I'm looking forward to seeing Man Utd collapse this year, it'll be funny to watch and they only have themselves to blame.

Lucky for the top clubs that they now have five substitutes to counter the obvious exhaustion of some of the players because of the latest pace of the game. And lucky for them that they can afford such top players on their benches.
