With this lot they'd never get the chance to stay "longer term" 🤣 Do feel we always do better with up and coming managers though

Capt. Pants 4,222 Posted August 13, 2022 Dyche no. Don't know what the situation is with Knutsen but we've missed the boat there. It's a real shame we weren't patient enough to wait for him last season. Not even sure what the situation is with EU managers post Brexit. What a mess. I just don't want Smith here fullstop. GJP 79 Posted August 13, 2022 The Sean Dyche who kept Burnley in the Prem for a number of years and got them into Europe? No. No. No. We are far too good for dross like that. I would hate to have a manager with that kind of record.

Yeah to be fair people were quick to latch onto Smith's perceived record to offset dissenters Don't like his style of play but would love him to get amongst some of our players. NeymarSmith 130 Posted August 13, 2022 In one hand, atleast he has a good record and we'd look more likely for promotion. And the team will an identity on how we play, be it different to what we are used to. Got to say, dyce is surely a man a lot of clubs in this league would lay down for. His record, even at prem level, fits most if not all, owners briefs to get promoted and stay there on a small investment to none So, if we were offered him tonight but must decide now, who's in? I'm game.
TheBaldOne66 682 Posted August 13, 2022 Jesus, some of the names on here being touted show how clueless people are! Knutsen to leave a club in a European competition? Of course he would, wouldn’t he? Farke? Nope, he’s gone get over it ffs. Nobody would be able to say who will be next with Webber picking him. And, who in their right mind would want to leave a decent job to come here ffs?

But you want Dyche's style of football instead. Now I am totally confused at what you do want. Can you not remember Burnley's highly defensive, long ball, headball style? hogesar 9,656 Posted August 13, 2022 For the fans who wanted Farke gone because they were desperate for us to stay in the prem, it would be hugely hypocritical to now say they don't want Dyche in charge, who is one of the only managers in world football who has proven he can regularly achieve that with a similar budget.
