Tall striker needed to help pukie

Recommended Posts

If this club is going to go back up to the premier league we need a tall decent striker as if we leave all to pukie and then then we will go down to the next league .so sort this out Dean if you don’t you will get the sack in April next year 2023.

If this were the 80’s or 90’s Grant Hanley would’ve been lumped up top a la Chris Sutton, Rob Newman, etc.

Said to be one of the fastest (deceptively) at the club, goes to ground easily in a Harry Kane free kick/penalty winning kind of way, and is strong in the air. What’s not to like? No brainier!

I second this. Except the Cynic in me say that it makes to much sense to actually happen.

I'm expecting at least one of you to wipe the floor with me with this idea. Fedor Chalov from CSKA Moskva, touted as the next Russian Wonderkid about 4-5 years ago or so. He seems to be scoring less an less as the seasons go on and last season was loaned out to Basel on a 6 month loan and scored 4 goals in 14 appearances which isn't bad but also isn't good. He has international caps, though not many. And seems to have had at least one very prolific season and a few decent ones in the Russian Prem. Maybe a loan to buy option with a sell on clause attached. Ignoring all of the above, I think it wouldn't happen anyway because most of all his Nationality and the potential political fallout of  signing a player from a country which is involved in certain Political and Military manouvering, and I hope I'm wrong, but I feel that would be the case. btw this is my opinion not stated fact, feel free to disagree.
