John Boubepo 0 Posted September 4, 2003 Six foot seven, Christ on a bike!!! do we have any shirts that big? the jury is still out on this guy but he has what it takes at this level, and I feel any defender or manager from any opposing team would worry about the height thing if nothing else. 3 months sounds about right, if he turns out to be cr@P we can pass him on to the binmen, if he''s any good he will probably have scored against the binners by then and we can keep him, oh I just love easy choices!! Chip20 69 Posted September 5, 2003 Yep, his sheer presence alone should give defenders something to think about and he should be great for set pieces. Things will really work best if the team make good use of the options he provides us with. Opposition teams will be expecting the long ball every time and will learn to cope with it if that''s all the lads do. If they mix the long balls with on-the-ground build up then the opposition will never know what to expect. Variety and creativity is the key in any football match and the opposition will always stifle you if they know exactly what to expect.
