Gilmour among Chelsea academy duo jettisoned by Tuchel

Recommended Posts

It’s a team game and our team was completely dysfunctional last season.   Not really his fault.  No one was able to play well in that team, we hardly had the ball, when we did everyone was in defensive positions, we were mostly out of shape and offensively there were very few options.    Opponents suffocated us, so expectations of him where unrealistic in them circumstances….. he didn’t create the hype but the managers kept selecting him when he couldn’t cope…. Give him a break.

That is a brilliant assessment.

Manchester United fans love to eulogies about Roy Keane. But would he have been the same player if he hadn't worked under two of the greatest managers in football history? (Briab Clough and Sir Alex Ferguson) I'd say no.

Scott McTominay is now the residential Manchester United whipping boy amongst Manchester United fans, but what they don't understand is that Manchester United have had the endure the mediocre coaching and management OGS for three years, as well as being in thr dressing room with more egos than leaders.

Is Gilmour as good as Chelsea fans make him out to be? No. Is Gilmour is bad as Norwich fans make him out to be? No.

His true talent lies somewhere in the middle.

As a Scotland fan  (amd non Norwich fan), I'm grateful for Norwich fans for giving him abuse and baring the brunt of expectation on his shoulders. If he doesn't grow from it then it's on him.

For a non Norwich fan you spend a decent amoun tof time here and speak a lot of sense...Do you not fancy trying a little yellow? You may never go back....
