They started it! But it’sa little too feisty for a friendly for my liking

Eh? Those are usually the most fun when they get a bit feisty. Players start really putting in the effort and for pre-season they'll get a lot of fitness work out of this, especially in these conditions.

The french will never hold back against the english.

Really good workout. We needed this.

Now for a bit of **** housery to round the evening off.

Gibbs looks decent enough? Thought so v. King's Lynn too.

Agreed. He's possibly the most likely to break through imo as we are slightly short in midfield atm with both Hayden and Sara not available yet.

Normally I’d agree but Last thing we need are injuries

I would go with that if it weren't for we have too many nationalities involved for it to be a French hate the British thing, which by the way, is more a British thing than a French thing...

I know it's only pre season but we have done an absolute job on this lot today.

3-0 Hugill after outstanding work from Hernandez! I'm enjoying the f*ck out of this!!

Yes, very much so. Classic wing play, classic CF goal. Iwan would be proud of that.

No lie I'd take Gibbs starting in CM over Wee Billy right now if offered the choice. But that says more about my valuation of Gilmour than anything I suppose.

Accept the point, but that's always a risk when the intensity goes up, feisty or not.

I’m not sure based on our two countries history how you’ve possibly come to that conclusion.

I know it was only one game and slightly poorer opposition, but I thought our tracking of runners was vastly improved from last season.

Good result against a team who will be playing in the Champions League this season.  I think we were fortunate to keep a clean sheet but definitely a result to build from.

Might just be pre season but lovely to see egg on the faces of the Hugill and Smith haters

The delusion is strong with this one......
