Interesting comment in the article:

“The women's team won't use the 2022/23 away kit for their matches however, and will wear the soon-to-released third strip as their alternate shirt for the season.” 

So we will effectively have a womens away kit and a mens one - not a bad idea.

One thing that was particularly annoying last season was that we used the ‘third’ kit far more than the away one.

Nothing essentially wrong with it in isolation...bit as has been previously said, our best kits have always been the ones which have incorporated yellow and/or green within it somehow

Very nice.  

Abit disappointed it wasn't dark green and black like the 05 away shirt but there's always the 3rd one. 

Also shorts should of been gold not ruby too. 🤣

Nowadays it seems 'away' and 'third' kits are those in name only, as the clubs just wear them as and when, sometimes when there isn't even a colour clash. They may as well just have two alternate strips and be done with it.
