Webber and Delia are just taking the **** with this club and its fans. There has been no contrition from last season's failings; no one from the club's hierarchy has faced the media to answer questions about it; and instead we have this charade of a takeover in which the Socialists phoned up Archant to make up a story to take the heat out of a situation which had been stoked by the Bed Sheet Twenty. In fact, those people supposedly from Milwaukee who were in the stand for the last game were not in the stand at all. The photograph of the Americans was cut from elsewhere and pasted by Archant in order to make it look genuine. Likewise, the supposed hotel bookings were fake.
