Eriksen rejects new contract at Brentford, all set to leave

Recommended Posts

And so the house of cards comes falling down, Toney the penalty merchant to no doubt follow and second season syndrome it is for the bees and relegation awaits.

Stick a tenner on it.. And no, not jealous or 'salty' in any way about Brentford having stayed up while we went down no no never😉

I think that's more about the player than the club. Eriksen used Brentford to put himself back in the shop window with every intention of moving on when he proved he could still cut it.

Brentford much like us do not have the big bucks or reputation the big clubs have so will never be able to hold on to the assets.

I’m sure we all wish Brentford the very best for the next season. 🤞

Don't be so horrible. Cambridgeo keeps this place going sometimes.

Clue is in the heading of the forum Main Discussion - Norwich City. What next? Archibald McJock has joined Brora Rangers?

Yes, really. We're talking now aren't we? Sure his posting is defo style over substance, and I'd liken him to a newsnow bot, but he is an asset imo.

Keep up the mediocre work @cambridgeshire canarycanarycanarycanarycacanacanarycacanarycan😄🙃😁

When you look back at his career history, he’s going to want to be at a bigger club than Brentford. One where he’s guaranteed survival, high wages, and that stands a decent chance of winning some silverware/making Europe

Brentford may well lose some of their best players but the difference between them and us - and the reason I reckon they’ll survive - is that they replace them adequately

Great. Was Archie a freebie or was there a fee involved . Up the mighty Brora.

Well I'm happy for Christian....He did his bit for Brentford and I'm sure the Bee's support will wish him the best for the future....

Fact remains, they kept their best player, we sold ours. How different would it have been had the reverse been the case?

The outbid us for the Celtic CH.

They fully deserved to stay up, and we got our just desserts!

Yeah, shame, he could have done a job for us.

There’s no actual news as yet. He’s on holiday and an Italian website has said he hasn’t accepted the contract offer. This has been amplified by every clickbait site going as meaning he has rejected it, rather than having made no public decision either way. As long as he doesn’t end up at Decapitation FC it’ll be fine in the end.

Thankyou for noticing me, I feel flattered. I still think keeping Smith is a massive mistake.🙃
