I see Coventry have tweaked their Admiral mid 70s kit for the new season, I wouldn’t mind us doing likewise. Could Joma have a treat in store for us this season?

I was underwhelmed by their kit sponsor announcement last summer and by the designs released.

Given how ar5e that last season was they’d better fu(king come through this season with something spectacular especially with the new crest on it. 😊

Im actually shocked at how many people bought the last kits as I thought they were bang average, the blue one being the best of the crop.

For me, less is more. The 70’s Coventry shirt is way better than the new one. It’s bad enough having the sponsors logo making a mess of the style, but what’s with the arrows on the shoulders and the broken glass pattern within the stripes?

We've never seen stripes (aside from the thin pins) and it would make a lot of fans uncomfortable IMO.

Which, given the current relationship between club and fans, makes it almost certain to happen this year.

I could actually see a yellow & green stripe shirt, yellow shorts and primarily green socks being a cult classic.

I've just had an update from Joma, the new away kit will not be yellow.

I think the 17/18 purple shirt is as close as we're going to get to it being used.

That kit is great, but there's no way we're getting that dark green. It'll be the same colours as the new badge (as this year's kit was).
