Midlands Yellow 3,980 Posted May 25, 2022 I see Coventry have tweaked their Admiral mid 70s kit for the new season, I wouldn’t mind us doing likewise. Could Joma have a treat in store for us this season?

Could Joma have a treat in store for us this season? I was underwhelmed by their kit sponsor announcement last summer and by the designs released. Given how ar5e that last season was they’d better fu(king come through this season with something spectacular especially with the new crest on it. 😊 Im actually shocked at how many people bought the last kits as I thought they were bang average, the blue one being the best of the crop. A Load of Squit 5,162 Posted May 25, 2022 The news from Joma (and before you ask, no I can't reveal my source) is that the new kit will be predominately yellow with some green.
Indy 3,298 Posted May 25, 2022 Have to say Hummel do some nice kits.

astro 360 Posted May 25, 2022 For me, less is more. The 70’s Coventry shirt is way better than the new one. It’s bad enough having the sponsors logo making a mess of the style, but what’s with the arrows on the shoulders and the broken glass pattern within the stripes?

Indy 3,298 Posted May 25, 2022 The Covvy away kit to this one was a horrid brown wasn’t it?
Pyro Pete 1,896 Posted May 25, 2022 For inspiration, these are our kits from previous years. Worth noting, we wore black shorts for more than 40 years.

raunds canary 215 Posted May 25, 2022 The 98/99 away one clashed with the linesman at Barnsley and had to be changed at half time to yellow

Love this club! Mid-late 70s and early 80s definitely my favourite looking across that image.

GodlyOtsemobor 2,307 Posted May 25, 2022 (edited) A re do of the 82 kit with the slim lines on would be great. Or the Asics kit obviously Edited May 25, 2022 by GodlyOtsemobor
Mason 47 1,379 Posted May 25, 2022 We've never seen stripes (aside from the thin pins) and it would make a lot of fans uncomfortable IMO. Which, given the current relationship between club and fans, makes it almost certain to happen this year. I could actually see a yellow & green stripe shirt, yellow shorts and primarily green socks being a cult classic.
TESCO 70 Posted May 25, 2022 This concept kit often floats around each season and gets people somewhat excited. It looks brilliant though, I never understood why we haven’t used it
Trevor Hockey's Beard 527 Posted May 26, 2022 The new kit needs to be plain yellow, with big green letters reading: " Sorry for last season."

It'll be the same colours as the new badge (as this year's kit was).
