Delia out

What is over? Same owners. Appalling record with a club that has an amazing history ofĀ being in the premier league so may times. The city and county has a right to tell them to **** off. They have an appalling self righteous attitudeĀ to the media, which at least tries to represent the fans- who fundedĀ the only positive thing that has come out of their tenure- these owners have a feudal attitude towards season ticket holders and supporters. They are the absolute antithesis of a family club.

We may have won two promotions, but this board has overshadowed that with two of our most embarassing seasons in Premiership ever.

Catastrophic failures this season (will always remember us all being excited at beating Brentford, with farke and S&J looked like they were at a funeral!) They are responsible

How the hell has a club with this history in the premier league been so embarrassed? Its utter, utter incompetence with any possible suitor being told "it's ours , go away." How is that socialist?

Queried 5Ā lads shouting Delia Out behind me what happens next. Everyone around me (a couple of you i know post on here) will vouch that their response was "billionaire owner and we do better"

I like their optimism but thats as far as their knowledge on the subject went.

Whatever happens next can't be worse than the shower of ****e that has been dished up this season, problem is even if by some miracle we do get promoted nothing will be different with these owners.

Money isnā€™t necessarily a pre-requisite. Ā Fresh ideas, motivation to drive things forward, a willingness to instigate changeĀ andĀ a greater appetite for risk would all be a distinct improvement on the stagnation and decay weā€™re witnessing under the current ownership.

It's not up to 5 lads standing behind you to decide who replaces Delia!

being obsessed with a billionaire is nonsense. A simple clear out of vacuous "we are the supporters' owners" would be enough. Its been a bloody disaster and the fans have had enough of being owned by a minor celebrity who is going to be even more minor i would say

Itā€™s the problem - you definitely feel that if we want to be competitive at PL level we need more finances available from somewhere. ā€¦.but as Iā€™ve said elsewhere you do also need to buy the right players (and have a spot of luck) - we were miles offĀ this season, not one of them showed enough PL quality; we couldā€™ve spent another Ā£50m on the wrong players and finished exactly the same.Ā . No, but if youre going to demand something it 100% is your responsibility to understand the potential repercussions, which they most certainly did not. They also stopped as soon as questioned.

We didn't improve the defence, we didn't sign a defensive midfielder and we didn't sign pace and power. All things that we knew we needed before the start of the season!

You need pace and power, you need to have a threat on the counter because you know you aren't going to have as much of the ball in the vast majority of games in the PL.

So what would be the repercussions of being owned by a billionaire? You seem to know the answer

Itā€™s time for the current owners to realise that theyā€™ve taken the club as far as they can, and step aside for someone else with more money, ambition and ideas. We as a county deserve better than what weā€™re currently getting.

Absolutely. Ā When you think we ā€œalmostā€ signed players who did well elsewhere itā€™s particularly galling what we ended up withā€¦.

are we really sitting here saying "let's give Delia and whatever his name is another go, and if they need us to pay to tarmac the car park we will chip in"? If so, we have lost our club.Ā Ā its a joke.Ā

The club is going nowhere under this ownershipā€¦ not sure itā€™s even possible to realistically hope for change as you need someone to take the helm but until that happens, itā€™s a pointless venture. Just a breeding club for the elite.

You obviously shocked them into silence by your defence of the indefensible.
