They're frustrating because they look great every now and then, but can't sustain it for more than a few games, so fans keep believing in them longer than they should. They also tend to be injury-prone. Normann's record at Norwich looks much the same as his record at Rostov and at Brighton - he consistently plays half a season. We are not a club who can afford that luxury. Normann is like something you buy in a shop that has beautiful, fancy packaging.
