PLM and Rashica have games where they play really well and then some games like West Ham where, as you say, they are so bad they get hooked at half time. Smith does not have many options and he’s putting them out there hoping for their better performances rather than last weeks. I can understand dropping Krul, he’s had a few poor games in a row now and really chucked it against West Ham. Gunn deserves a shot and Krul will know that. Something more along the lines of "I'm not thinking about that now, I am focused on this season. I'll think about that come the summer." That may match up with the world cup being in the middle of next season and him needing to play as high a level as possible to retain his international spot. Another reason why such a concept for an international tournament is just full of issues that backhanded corruptness saw to override.
