It was a play on words that is so bad that it just about makes sense 😄

So is Kone going to provide the lift Norwich are needing this season?

El Ghazi, please no!     The wife is a Villa fan, he's affectionately called 'El Khazi', seriously, give him a few games and you'll all realise he's not actually very good.     Does something pretty special about once every 10 games (so has a highlights reel) but seriously, the lad is pants, probably better than Platcheta, not better than Hernandez.   Certainly won't suit a high pressing game.

I don't think this is that accurate. El Ghazi scored 10 premier league goals in a season, Hernandez has and will never get close to that.

McNeil*

It's Watford losing Sarr and Dennis that L'm most interested in.

With those two in the team, they should be a match for anything the Chumps throws at them.

Not happening, keep up

The problem for all is the window being open another month. PL sides in particular could well be sniffing around for the better players.  We don’t probably have too many of interest but others might.

This is my concern around Cantwell if he starts the season on fire we could find ourselves in a situation having to accept a cut price sale given his contract situation.

Perhaps we should look at the German Thyssen? good movement up and down but pretty one dimensional

All the Brazillians, so many Brazillians and they all come to the Championship..

That's not a photo of a man looking pleased to be at Burnley, is it? More like a man just told he needs extensive root canal surgery in his teeth.

Has anyone living in Burnley looked happy to be there?

Dennis tailed off badly-only 2 goals and 1 assist in the 2nd half of the season. Sarr is dangerous when he can be bothered but too often he isn’t bothered. Both could be very good for Watford but don’t bank on it.

El Toilet.

He was loaned to Everton last January and only played twice. He's been at some decent clubs but has lost his way somewhat.

Anyway Villa want to sell him not loan him, so that will rule us out.

We can’t afford those proven signings to a requisite level that is going to improve us. Look at the fees and wages Forest are paying for their premier league punts. Until we have our very own (alleged) drug kingpin bankrolling the club we have to hope enough of these punts will come off one day for us to scrape 17th before not enough come off to move us to championship mid table mediocrity.

Am happy for enough of these punts to come off to be fair… but sadly, whilst we continue to persevere with average Chumps players like McLean, Dowell, Gibson and Sargent, there will be less room for that type of player to develop.

… and what’s more, the team is crying out for some changes!

I have seen quite a lot of this guy including live, he really does know how to be ineffective!   He will frustrate the pants off fans.   How many of those goals were pens?

Good old Everton. You can always rely on them to overpay. That's a fantastic deal for Burnley.

On the face of it yes, but in today's market maybe not. Players with one good season in the Championship are getting sold for 12-20 million. This player with 140 premiership appearances and still only 22. It's about right.... which is bonkers. Hell, there are Man City youngsters with a few token Premiership starts going for 10 million plus.

Championship winning players like McLean, Dowell and Gibson you mean? Are they that average?

Keep up old capt, the press are saying they can't find willing buyers so are willing to loan instead.

Surprising to hear there's been no interest in Rashica whatsoever! He didn't exactly cover himself in glory last season admittedly but thought we'd have had a few enquiries
