Ulfotto 130 Posted May 1 Watching motd last night can someone explain how the Williams kick in the face was different to the Gibson vs Brentford penalty that was given against us.

Ken Hairy 1,712 Posted May 1 There wasn't much in it, but then I didn't think the Brentford one was a pen either. Williams is ducking down, ref got that one right.

Liverpool are at the top but next to them are those top 4 heavy-weight powerhouses...Southampton and West Ham. Man Utd and Spurs are nearer to the bottom than top. Watford are near the top. Leicester at the bottom - often seen as one of the media's darlings. Interesting stuff! OTBC

Its the things that VAR doesn't even bother checking because they've decided not to today, or pretending its checked. I'm at peace, got a season without it. Pyro Pete 216 Posted May 1 VAR is administered by the same incompetent officials that referee games. So inevitably it will be just as inconsistent.
Ulfotto 130 Posted May 1 (edited) Both times the ball has gone defender then makes contact with the man. It is far more blatant in the Williams case than the Gibson. Yes,yes I know we haven’t been good enough but that decision was an awful one at an awful time and an obvious example how literally nothing has gone Our way this year. FCC 51 Posted May 2 I would think, over a season they should even out. 1 or 2 would be within that sort of range - when you are getting 4 or 6 for or against you, it is hard to not sense a bias.
