[ this needs checking ] a lot of posters say we shouldn`t look back etc , but looking back can often steer you clear of the mistakes made by others ! I don`t think we can identify our situation too closely to Forest ,they went steadily downhill because they disbanded the board , which culminated in a ratrace of financial " backers " fighting amongst themselves for their own particular agenda , money wasn`t made available to managers , all the best players were sold , morale dropped through the floor , managers came and went as regular as clockwork .... landing up in div one .. and STILL struggling ! Maybe the Delia bashers should reflect on this scenario when they have a go at her for trying to stem the flow of managers [ six in six years ! ] , and trying to get some stability into the club ! [/quote]The thing is we had the players, its not as if we have to sell our squad on relegation or promotion, the only noteable forced sales were Damien Francis and Helveg, no others were really forced on us. I am sure if worthy had tried to convince Svenny to stay he would have done. Jonson would have stayed. Its just a shame he brought in such tripe and plays the long ball game.
