😂😅

One cost £8m, the other cost £35-40m... can anyone guess which way around it is?

I thought it wasn't always about the money.

Or is it if you saying something negative about a player?

If any of you think this shower of **** will be anywhere near the top half of the Championship this time next year then you're living in cloud cuckoo land.

Utter shambles of a playing staff.

Happy to have a bet we will be in top half next season for charity. That's a little nonsensical.

This sort of performance does make me question the getting rid of Farke decision though. Very much a Farke performance from earlier in the season - thinking Watford at home as an example.

All this trash we been watching since Smith took over- Now we can see it was not Farkes fault and maybe we should had stuck with him

One still looks every bit of value per £, and one doesn't 😅

Look, to be fair, you can buy some expensive paperweights...

Yeah, and Hanley invaded Ukraine too. (I think you may have missed the point).

I don't think I did miss the point. I'm a simple soul - when I see Krul make a mistake like that, I don't say it's Hanley's fault for not being in the position to collect the pass. Unlike some fans, I do not think that I possess a more profound understanding of the game which sees that the real problem is a player who may well win POTS.

Touche. But if people understood what he is like as a coach instead of rubbishing someone without research, then it comes back to bite you.

So you admit your point was rubbish? Comparing the purchasing power of Newcastle and Norwich like that is devoid of intelligence.

No, but a difference in value does tend to be at least suggestive that one is better does it not?

All depends on recruitment, but if we go with 50% of this squad still intact, then we won't challenge anywhere near the top.

Happy to put my money where my mouth is, and hope that I lose. £20 charity bet it is then?

Sorry. I bow to your superior brain. Must be hard for you carrying that big head around. I merely said touche to a point the poster made.

Of course. I was merely pointing out the bad mouthing of Howe on here over the years. Why? Probably jealousy.

Have city players gave anything in todays game- surely the fans are not going to clap this performance - even happy clappers must be feeling the misery too

Thankfully another game in this dreadful season almost out of the way. It's taking forever to finish this season!

Never a popular suggestion but I'm amazed Hanley always escapes any blame. He's been the one constant in the backline for two **** poor seasons at this level, he's captain and yet the defence looks completely disorganised and at sea no matter who else plays.

He escapes blame because he is without question our best defender every single game and he cannot be culpable for blatantly obvious individual errors. I would absolutely dread to see our points total if we didnt had him this season.

Nah, I just think the media appears to love him. I sorta get it, young, British, promising manager, doing OK.

I think it's that a lot of people get fed up with it and sick at the vain hollowness that sort of worship entails. Like how he had a lot of money to spend at Bournemouth, which isn't everything, but it certainly helps. Lets not forget he went to Burnley, struggled, and returned to Bournemouth - Dyche went to Burnley and succeeded where he hadn't on a fraction of the budget.

All I can think of is how much longer do I have to endure this dross.

Zero hope of this team doing anything slightly positive now. Probably best just to call it off and go on an extended holiday.

In brighter news, Ipswich have just conceded a late equaliser at already relegated and League 2 bound Crewe Alexander

You also said ‘he’ bought that player and ‘we’ bought Sargent. You are attributing praise singularly to him, even though it isn’t clear at all who has biggest influence on transfers as it is with us (as you allude to with the ‘we’ comment). I don’t need a big head to find the holes in your point.

Guess the players fighting against United and all the talk prior to this match was for nothing. Oh well, at least we can '**** off to the championship' as the Newcastle fans are shouting at us

The Newcastle fans can pi*s off. If they hadn't sold their soul, they'd probably be joining us.
