canarydan23 4,726 Posted April 21, 2022 I was at Center Parcs that night. My phone kept going off and it seemed every time I checked it I had a message telling me we'd scored again.

Another year of trying to match Accrington Stanley, with the possible added bonus of Forest Green.
SwearyCanary 1,335 Posted April 21, 2022 I lived on silver street in north city and wasn’t earning enough to have a season ticket then. I remember following it on my laptop but actually heard the roar across town from my doorstep every time we scored.

You did well to hear that as the game was played 40 miles down the A140.

He probably meant from The Beamback at FCR where I was on the night. A fantastic atmosphere there and spilling out onto the street afterwards was unreal. It was then that we knew we'd get over the line.

It is hugely ironic people coming on here making out they are opposed to the whole notion of Ipswich yet they turn a blind eye to the fact that Delia is the biggest fan of Ipswich as she supported them in the 78 cup final and was seen wearing their shirt. Mello Yello 2,542 Posted April 22, 2022 Was at the beam-back at Carra.....A Great Atmosphere and such Ecstasy at Full-Time..... I've got to grudgingly admit though, Jimmy Bullen's strike was top-drawer.....

I’d love to cover my tracks and say this was the case but I have definitely misdated. I’m thinking of the November game which was a 4-1 battering.
